A herniated disc causing lower back pain has the ability to harm your daily standard of living. If you've been dealing with strong back pain that hasn't shown signs of improvement, we recommend that you schedule an appointment with a chiropractor near you
What Are Herniated Discs?
Between the bones that stabilize your spine are small discs that help protect your spine. Trauma can sometimes cause spinal discs to rupture. This rupture of the outer fibrous layer of the spinal disc allows the internal gel-like material of the disc to push out. This internal disc material then starts pressing on nearby nerves, which causes a host of symptoms, such as muscle weakness, tingling and burning sensations, and pain.
If you think this may have happened to you, it's important to schedule an appointment here at Spine Pain Center -
Common Symptoms of Herniated Discs
Herniated discs often cause pain throughout your back and have the ability to affect other parts of your body as well, depending on how severe any nerve damage or impingement is. For example, if you are dealing with sciatic nerve inflammation, you may experience pain throughout your lower back and legs.
